FAQ

  • How does the lock work?

What we do is similar In some ways to multi signature and integrates Biometrics using the IEEE 2410 standard which is all based on research that our founder, Hector Hoyos, contributed to IEEE. The lock requires biometric authentication by the wallet’s owner in order to proceed with the transaction.

  • Is the token an ERC 20 token?

Yes it is. We have validated our RSN token code on etherscan.io, link here,so that anyone can inspect the code and verify it is in fact an ERC20 token.

  • Why does it cost anything to attempt a hack?

Since RSN is an ERC20 Token, whoever attempts a transaction has to pay Ethereum gas to the miners to attempt the unlock transaction for the bio-lock. Each attempt requires a small amount of Ether (a few dollars' worth). This is a deterrent to hacking, albeit a minor one. The main deterrent is the inability of a hacker to replicate the biometric authentication linked to the wallet.
